If you buy one of these units, you must be satisfied with your purchase or you get a full refund less shipping upon safe return of the radio. To be safe, I guarantee all these radios to NOT work. They will need your expertise to bring them up to spec. I do warrant them to be complete or as stated. In most cases, they have not seen power in years. All have engraved front panels. Service manuals for all freely available in pdf format on the net.

R-390A, no tag, ser. 5XX, SOLD
R-390A, Collins ser. 2XXX ... SOLD
R-390A, Motorola, serial 9XX... SOLD

R-389, Collins serial #148, original meters. Condition is good outside, excellent inside. Flaking paint on some of the knobs, the window shutter needs adjustment (but it does work!). Missing the slug rack cover (as are all my other R-389s). There are two external chassis dings. One side panel has a slight ding - see the bottom frame ding picture (hope I captured this OK). The back frame has a slight dent near the middle of the chassis back panel (a common finding). Bottom cover missing. With cleanup and kneading out the dings, redoing the knobs, this unit could be an outstanding example of the finest vacumn tube VLF receiver built by American engineering. It has not been powered on in many years. Correct power connector supplied. $2200.00 SOLD
